Years ago I remember going to a movie that had some really good music (and some not so good) in it. One of the tunes was to an om-pa-pa rhythm and it was about wishing all kinds of ill will towards the Tzar of Russia. These were a group of refugees, mostly Jews, but not all, who were targeted for extermination. They had escaped and found each other and were entertaining themselves with song and dance. One of the main women characters committed suicide after going through all kids of hardships to get away. I'm sorry I don't remember any specific lyrics. I have searched Netflix with no success.
Any ideas?
