Listener Contributions - December 2009

As of December 31, 2009, we received $453.00 in listener contributions. Our goal for the month is $400.

All it takes is a $2 contribution each month from each listener to keep FA up and running.

You can make a One-Time contribution or you can setup recurring monthly or yearly PayPal contributions by clicking on Support FA on the menu bar, or by clicking HERE. There are additional one-time contribution links when you use the Simple Request System.

Glad to see the contributions are rolling in. I hope we make goal again.

Suggestion: Would it be possible to put a little gauge (maybe one that looks like a thermometer) on the front home page? At the top put the monthly goal. Have the gauge fill in so that it correlates with the amount that has been received. Maybe put the amount received out to the side. At the top, label it Monthly Goal and at the bottom, put a 'Donate Now' link or button. I think it we'd do better with reaching goal if it were more visible. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion.

We did have something like that about a year or so ago - but it only updated when contributions were made by clicking on that specific PayPal link. It didn't reflect contributions made through other PayPal links on other parts of the site and didn't reflect PayPal monthly recurring listener contributions.

If I can find some kind of gauge that is easy to update manually, I'll see if I can find a spot on the front page to place it.

I agree that more visibility is needed.
