Sorry for the lack of weekly news the past month - things have been hectic. Lots going on with Flashback Alternatives the past month, and lots more goodies coming up between now and the end of the year! - As mentioned last month, there have been some changes to our show lineup. Be sure to check out the Shows area on the Website or the Shows area in the Forums for an updated list.
- Lots of adds - with more on the way! The goal is to have over 29,000 tracks online by the end of the year. Be sure to check Recent Adds under the Charts menu item frequently!
- More artist interview shows are on the way! After highly successful interview shows with Invisible Zoo and Martha & the Muffins, DJ Wave has more shows lined up for Retropolis, including The Mood on 12/15!
- Our Annual New Year's Eve shows are in the works! Each DJ will be creating a special New Year's Eve show, which will play non-stop from around 6pm (ET) on 12/31 all through New Year's Day. The shows are always special, and should be the soundtrack to your New Year' Eve party! E-Mail

Unfortunately, listener contributions have not been up to par for sometime now. We consistently fall short, and it has become impossible to continue to run the station in its current configuration. As a result, unless something dramatic happens in terms of listener contributions over the next couple of weeks, I will be moving the FA Website to a lower cost option. This may result in the elimination of the Simple Request System, and will require a reworking of the FA website as a whole, as we will be limited in what we can do, and how much bandwidth and processing power we will have available. I was hoping the new site design introduced a few months ago would help spark listener contributions, but that has just not been the case. Again, I will give it another couple of weeks to see if things improve, but if not, there will be some changes towards the end of December. Please note that Flashback Alternatives is not going ANYWHERE. The changes would be website related only - the streams would not be affected in any way - and your contributions will still be greatly needed for other aspects of the station. Thank you for your understand and support.... and thanks for listening to Flashback Alternatives! DJ Ed
